How shipping is priced

Shipping remains quote-required until the finished package dimensions and weight, shipment origin, destination, delivery class, appointment, limited-access needs, liftgate or forklift, site conditions, and insurance terms are known.

What the quote should state

The accepted quote should identify freight inclusion or exclusion, package count, estimated dimensions and weights when available, delivery service, accessorial charges, receiving responsibilities, inspection requirements, dry storage, and the claims process.

Prepare the delivery site

Confirm truck access, gate and parking restrictions, receiving hours, dock, forklift or unloading labor, protected staging, long-component turning room, opening-ID sorting, glass handling, and installer handoff before release.

Inspect before signing

Photograph every side, count crates and bundles, compare door labels, note holes, tears, crushed corners, exposed finish, broken bands, leaning packages, glass damage, and shortages on the receipt, then follow the stated claim window.
