How do I get a price?

Choose the series, design, finish, windows and opening sizes, then send the request. We return a written quote, usually within 24 hours, covering the doors, selected options and freight to your delivery address.

Does the design I choose change the price?

No. Every standard design within the series is the same price. Door size, finish collection and windows are what change the quote. Solid colors are included, clear and knotty grain are a woodgrain upgrade, and oak grain and weathered finishes are premium upgrades priced by door area.

Are all finishes and windows available on every model?

No. Series, model, design, dimensions and finish affect availability. Use each series page as a starting point, and your written quote confirms the final combination.

How long does a custom garage door take?

Doors are made to order after your quote and color sample are approved. Current lead times are about 8 weeks for Cornerbrook and Shoreline and about 12 weeks for Bridgewater, plus freight transit. Your quote confirms the schedule for every series.

How is this door shipped?

Doors are crated at the factory in Utah and shipped by freight truck to your home, business or job site anywhere in the United States. Crating is included in the door price, and freight is quoted for your exact shipment. Delivery is curbside, so plan to unload.

Can you ship to a job site?

Yes. Freight is quoted to any home, business or job site address. Several doors on one shipment usually lower the freight cost per door, and freight quotes are held for 30 days.

Do I need to unload the truck?

Yes. Delivery is curbside and the driver is not required to unload. Have a crew or equipment ready; composite carriage house doors are heavy, and larger double-layer doors can approach 1,200 lb.

Can I see the colors before I order?

Yes. Small physical color samples are free and ship to your home or job site. Screens and lighting change how woodgrain and color look, so we require sample approval before a custom door is ordered.

What warranty comes with this door?

The steel carriage-house limited warranty covers door sections against splitting, cracking or rust-through for as long as the original purchaser owns the home, delamination of the foam and facial molding for ten years, finish peeling or loss of adhesion for ten years in residential single-family installations, and all other components for one year. It is not transferable and excludes customer-applied finishes, surface rust, chips, scratches, salt-water exposure, misuse and lack of maintenance.

Is installation included?

No. Doors ship ready for a professional installer. Overlay carriage-house doors are much heavier than standard steel doors and use heavy-duty torsion springs, so installation should be done by an experienced garage door company. Contractors can have doors delivered straight to the job site.

Do you work with contractors and builders?

Yes. We quote complete projects for garage door installers, builders and remodelers. Send a door schedule and we price every opening with job-site freight.

Are these doors wind-load or hurricane rated?

No. This catalog does not include wind-load or hurricane-rated doors. If your project requires a rated assembly, it does not meet that requirement.

Designer Steel

Which insulation values apply to Designer Steel?

The May 2026 brochure lists DS200 at R6.85 and DS275 at R10.25. These differ from older website copy. DS100 is non-insulated. Published section R-values are not a whole-door performance guarantee.

Designer Steel High Performance

Which High Performance options have model restrictions?

Mixed panels are DS400 only. Aluminum and slim windows are limited to DS400 Flush and Plank. Honey Cedar and Cocoa Hickory are unavailable on Flush or Recessed Smooth Ranch. Review the brochure for frame and glass compatibility.

Cornerbrook

What is the difference between Cornerbrook and Shoreline?

Cornerbrook is a partial overlay: the composite design sits on an embossed woodgrain steel background, so you see two textures. Shoreline covers the entire face with a single composite layer, so the whole door has one smooth, consistent surface. The two are priced within a few dollars of each other, so the choice comes down to the look you prefer.

Shoreline

Why is Shoreline the most popular series?

Shoreline gives you a full wood-look face with no competing textures, and every part of the door can carry the design, from chevron and herringbone to horizontal plank and classic carriage house patterns. It costs about the same as Cornerbrook.

Is Shoreline heavier than Cornerbrook?

Yes. The full composite overlay adds weight, which matters for spring sizing and installation. Share your installer's details and opening measurements so the door and hardware are specified correctly.

How long does a Shoreline door take?

Bridgewater

What does the second composite layer add?

On Cornerbrook the background is embossed steel and on Shoreline the design is one layer. Bridgewater adds a composite underlayment that can carry its own vertical or horizontal slats, then applies the design layer on top, so the door has two planes of detail and deeper shadow lines.

How much more does Bridgewater cost?

Bridgewater is the premium series. On a typical two-door project it quotes several thousand dollars more than the same sizes in Cornerbrook or Shoreline because of the extra composite layer, 3-inch construction and heavier hardware.

How heavy is a Bridgewater door?

Much heavier than a standard steel door. Larger Bridgewater doors can approach 1,200 lb and use heavy-duty 6-inch duplex torsion springs, so they need an experienced installer and equipment to unload and set the sections.

How long does a Bridgewater door take?
