Receiving a curbside delivery

Doors arrive crated on a freight truck and are delivered to the curb. The driver is not required to unload, so schedule a crew or equipment such as a forklift or telehandler. Overlay carriage house doors are heavy, and larger double-layer doors can approach 1,200 lb. Inspect every crate, photograph any damage and note it on the delivery receipt before signing.
