What changes the price of a custom carriage house or composite garage door: series, size, finish tier, windows, freight, installation and lead time.
Series and size set the base price
Steel, composite overlay, handmade wood and aluminum and glass doors are built differently, and door width and height set the base price within each series. In the Cornerbrook, Shoreline and Bridgewater series, every standard design is the same price, so pick the pattern you love without worrying about cost.

Finish tier
Solid paint colors are included in the door price. Clear and knotty woodgrain finishes are a per-door upgrade, and the oak grain and weathered collections are premium finishes priced by door area. Order free samples before choosing.
Windows and hardware
Clear-glass window sections are priced per door, with separate pricing for single and double doors. Decorative hardware and custom options are added to the quote line by line.
Freight, crating and delivery
Crating is included in the door price. Freight is quoted for your exact shipment and destination and shown on your quote. Freight rates move with fuel prices, so freight quotes are held for 30 days. Delivery is curbside: have a crew or equipment ready to unload. Combining several doors on one shipment usually lowers the freight cost per door.
Installation
Installation is not included. Overlay carriage house doors are heavy and use heavy-duty torsion springs, so budget for an experienced garage door installer, removal of the old door, and any opener or electrical work.
Lead time
Current production lead times are about 8 weeks for Cornerbrook and Shoreline and about 12 weeks for Bridgewater, plus freight transit. Your quote confirms the schedule.

Is installation included?
No. Doors ship ready for a professional installer. Overlay carriage-house doors are much heavier than standard steel doors and use heavy-duty torsion springs, so installation should be done by an experienced garage door company. Contractors can have doors delivered straight to the job site.
