Composite carriage house doors come in four levels of finish. Solid colors are included. Clear grain and knotty grain collections add a woodgrain finish. Oak grain and weathered collections are premium finishes. Free physical samples are available and required before ordering, because screens and lighting change how color and grain look.

Use physical samples

Screen colors and project photography vary with lighting. Approve a current sample for the actual grain and finish. Steel woodtones, composite Wood Color Effects, and real-wood finishes are distinct products.

Custom Garage Doors USA recommends warm water, mild soap, and a microfiber cloth. Do not pressure wash the door. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your exact finish and consult them before using a touch-up product.

Protect your finish warranty

The composite carriage house finish is warranted for ten years against peeling or loss of adhesion in residential single-family homes. Customer-applied finishes, surface rust, chips, scratches and damage from salt-water exposure are not covered. Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft cloth, and never pressure wash.
